Abstract:
Provided is a solid polymer electrolyte composition with improved oxidation resistance without a reduction in proton conductivity or a dissolution of added components. Also provided are a membrane electrode assembly, a fuel cell, and an ion-exchange membrane using said composition. A solid polymer electrolyte composition that does not cause a reduction in proton conductivity or a dissolution of added components and that has excellent oxidation resistance can be obtained by mixing an aromatic hydrocarbon polymer electrolyte, a phosphorous-containing polymer compound, and a metal element.
