Abstract:
Disclosed are a solid polymer electrolyte, an electrode structure comprising same, an electrochemical device comprising same, and a method of producing a solid polymer electrolyte film. The solid polymer electrolyte comprises: a copolymer of crosslinkable monomers including a first ethoxylated pentaerythritol acrylate-based monomer and a second silyl group-containing acrylate-based monomer; and a lithium salt. Thus, the solid polymer electrolyte exhibits high ion conductivity and mechanical strength in a broad range of temperatures including room temperature, and can improve and ensure battery characteristics and reliability. The solid polymer electrolyte can be formed as a free-standing film or formed as a protective film directly coated on a lithium metal electrode, to be usable in an electrochemical device such as a high-density, high-energy lithium-metal battery.
