Abstract:
Provided is a solid polymer electrolyte membrane which has outstanding strength and which can reduce electrolysis voltage when applied to an electrolyzer. The solid polymer electrolyte membrane contains a fluoropolymer having an ion exchange group and fabric, the fabric weight per unit area of the fabric is 20 to 95 g/m2, and the denier count of the warp yarn and the denier count of the weft yarn which constitute the fabric are each, independently, within the range of 30 to 100, inclusive.
