Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a solid polymer film electrode whereby it is possible to obtain electrolytic hydrogen water which has an adequate amount of dissolved hydrogen and in which a pH increase can be suppressed. The present invention relates to a solid polymer film electrode for generating electrolyzed water, wherein the solid polymer film electrode has a solid polymer film and a catalyst layer containing a platinum group metal provided on the front and back of the solid polymer film, the solid polymer film being a hydrocarbon-based cation exchange film, and the ion exchange capacity per unit area thereof being 0.002 mmol/cm2 to 0.030 mmol/cm2.
