Abstract:
The invention relates to a solid soap keeping means which keeps the solid soap (10) dry for the users to use the soap conveniently and completely without dissolving the soap into water and improves the utility of the soap without loss or waste due to the surrounding or standing water. The solid soap keeping means comprises a fixing body (20) to fix or attach solid soap (10) and two supporting plates (30) at the ends of the fixing body (20), a hanging member (40) having a hook (41) may be formed on the outer surface of either supporting plate (30) to hang up the whole body. Locking or unlocking member (31) may be provided at the outer bottom surface of the outer supporting plate (30) so as to fill the inside (21) of the fixing body (20) with perfume or liquid soap.

Claims:
What is claimed is:
1. Solid soap keeping means comprising a fixing body to hold the soap thereon. 5.
2. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 1, further comprising a pair of supporting plates in a certain shape formed at the ends of the fixing body to support the fixing body and the soap.
3. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 1, a hook 10 or ring may be formed on the outer surface of either supporting plate to hang up the whole body.
4. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 1, liquid soap or perfume may be contained in the fixing body by providing a locking/unlocking member on the outer bottom 15 surface of the supporting plate.
5. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 1, the soap is attached above an ellipsoidal fixing body so that the soap may not be in contact with the surface of bathroom or water.
6. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 1, the 20 fixing body is connected to a hanging member having the hook or ring by screwing a spiral end portion of the hanging member to a hole having a spiral receiving portion and formed at an end of the fixing body.
7. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 1 to 25. claim 4, the fixing body is connected to the hanging member at one end thereof.
8. Solid soap keeping means characterized in that a fixing body and a solid soap held by the fixing body are connected to at least one hanging member formed at either or both ends of the fixing body and the soap.
9. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 8, the fixing body and the solid soap are connected to one or two hanging members by screwing each spiral end portion of the hanging members to each spiral receiving end portion of the fixing body.
10. Solid soap keeping means characterized in that the supporting plates are variable in their color, shape, and size in order for the users to distinguish the soap supported by the plates.
11. Solid soap keeping means according to claim 10, identification of the soap or advertisement can be engraved or attached on the internal or external surface of the supporting plates.
12. Solid soap keeping means characterized in that identification of soap or advertisement can be engraved on the exposed external surface of the soap and can be engraved or attached on the exposed internal or external surface of its fixing body.

SOLID SOAP KEEPING MEANS

Background of the Invention

This invention relates to a solid soap keeping means which prevents the soap from being dissolved in water and keeps it dry to be used conveniently without waste.

Generally, the solid soap is the most widely used one in several types of soap, and this solid soap is usually kept in soap dishes or cases made of synthetic plastic.

The conventional soap dishes or cases, however, have disadvantages that they can not prevent the soap from being dissolved away by the surrounding or standing water which has penetrated or has not flown out through apertures formed on the soap cases and they are fragile since they are made of synthetic plastic.

Therefore, after many times of use the soap becomes too small to grasp and can not help being wasted.

Summary of the Invention

It is, accordingly, an object of the invention to overcome the disadvantages of the conventional soap dishes or cases by providing a solid soap keeping means which keeps the solid soap dry to be used conveniently and completely without being dissolved into water.

The invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a schematical cross-sectional side view showing a solid soap keeping means according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention;

Fig. 2 is a schematical cross-sectional side view showing the state where the solid soap is attached in a solid soap keeping means according to another preferred embodiment of the invention; and

Fig. 3A to Fig. 3H are views respectively showing further embodiments of the solid soap keeping means according to the present invention.

Description of the Preferred Embodiment of the Invention

Referring to Fig. 1, a solid soap keeping means according to a preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a fixing body 20 to fix or attach solid soap 10 and two supporting plates 30 at the ends of the fixing body 20.

The solid soap 10 may be in various forms of circle, ellipse, square, etc.

The fixing body 20 to hold the soap 10 is formed in such a manner that the thickness is thinnest at its middle part and gradually increases toward its upper and lower end parts so that the upper and lower end parts are to be the thickest parts. The

fixing body 20 has supporting plates 30 at its upper and lower end parts.

Several kinds of solid soap can be distinguished from each other by differentiating the shape, size, or color of the supporting plates 30 of the solid soap keeping means.

Further, solid soaps can be distinguished by engraving or attaching a paper displaying the identification or commercial advertisement for the solid soap on the surfaces of the fixing body 20 or the supporting plates 30. The identification or commercial advertisement for the solid soap may also be engraved on the surface of the soap.

The fixing body 20 and the supporting plates 30 are made from synthetic resin material, which are detachable from each other. As shown in Fig. 2, a hanging member 40 having a hook

41 may be formed on the outer surface of either supporting plate

30 to hang up the whole body, and a locking/unlocking member

31 may be provided at the outer bottom surface of the other supporting plate 30 so as to fill the inside 21 of the fixing body 20 with perfume or liquid soap.

Fig. 3A to Fig. 3H show respectively different embodiments of the solid soap keeping means according to the present invention. In Fig. 3A, the soap 10 is attached above an ellipsoidal fixing body 20 so that the soap 10 may not be in contact with the surface of the bathroom or water. In Fig. 3B, the soap 10 is attached biasedly on the fixing body 20 having an internal path 23 therein through which the whole body is fixed or

hanged up by means of a protrusion (not shown). In Fig. 3C to Fig. 3E, the soap 10 is retained on the fixing body 20 and the whole body is hanged up vertically by use of a hook or ring 41. The hanging member 40 is connected to the fixing body 20 by screwing a spiral end portion of the hanging member 40 to a hole 22 having a spiral receiving end portion and formed at the fixing body 20. In Fig. 3F, the soap 10 is retained around the fixing body 20 between the upper and lower supporting plates 30 and the whole body may be hanged up vertically by use of the hook 41 of the hanging member 40. Rods 31 which are formed on the supporting plates 30 inwardly have respectively spiral end portions which are screwed to respective spiral receiving end portions of the fixing body 20. In Fig. 3G, the soap 10 is fixed on the fixing body 20 above the bottom surface of the bathroom by means of a protrusion 50 which is inserted into the fixing body 20 through the internal path 23 formed at an end of the fixing body 20. In Fig. 3H, a case is provided to carry the soap 10 held by the fixing body 20 without noise, in such a manner that rods 40 are extended from both end parts of the fixing body 20 and have through holes 41 on the extended end portions, so that protrusions 62 formed on both end portions of a lower part of the case are coupled with grooves 61 formed in both end portions of an upper part of the case.

As above, the solid soap keeping means according to the present invention can keep the solid soap dry and improve the utility of the soap so as to be used more conveniently and completely without being dissloved into water.

It will be appreciated by persons skilled in the art that numerous variations and/or modifications may be made to the invention as shown in the specific embodiments without departing from the spirit or scope of the invention as broadly described. The present embodiments are, therefore, to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive.
