Abstract:
Provided is a solid-state battery that makes it possible to minimize the occurrence of cracks in layers constituting the solid-state battery even when there is variation in the thicknesses of the individual layers. The solid-state battery is provided with a plurality of solid-state battery cells each provided with a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and a solid electrolyte later sandwiched between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer. The solid-state battery is additionally provided with a stress relaxation layer for relaxing stress applied to the solid-state battery. The flatness tolerance of the stress relaxation layer-side surface of another layer in contact with the stress relaxation layer is 100 µm or more and/or the parallelism tolerance of the stress relaxation layer-side surface of another layer in contact with the stress relaxation layer is 100 µm or more.
