Abstract:
The present application discloses a U.2 NVME solid-state disk (SSD) surprise hot removal operation processing method, apparatus, and system, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: predefining short signal pins for detecting whether an NVME SSD is in position; and presetting to trigger an operation of calling an SMI program according to input state change information of the GPIO of a PCH chip, an input state value of the GPIO being determined according to the connection state of the short signal pins to a U.2 slot; when it is detected that the input state of the GPIO changes, calling the SMI program, and reading the input state value of the GPIO; and if the input state value of the GPIO is a corresponding value indicating that the NVME SSD is not in position, using the SMI program to disconnect a PCIe root bridge from the NVME SSD. The present application can solve the problem of reporting error due to the timeout of a processor caused by an unfinished IO request after surprise hot removal of a U.2 NVMe SSD under the PCIe 3.0 specification, thereby effectively preventing the occurrence of server system crashes and improving server stability.
