Abstract:
Provided is a new solid-state electrolyte capacitor manufacturing method, whereby it is possible to minimize occurrence of defects in a dielectric film and a restriction in a used valve effect metal substrate is alleviated. Grooves (2) are disposed in a valve effect metal substrate (1) which comprises a porous substance surface part (1a) and a non-porous substance main body part (1b), with the bottom parts of the grooves being the non-porous substance. The valve effect metal substrate (1) is partitioned by the grooves (2) into a plurality of unit regions. Cathode layer forming parts (A) are regulated in the porous obverse face part for each unit region. Dielectric films (3) are formed on the cathode layer forming parts of the valve effect metal substrate (1) and on the surfaces of the grooves therebetween. Solid-state electrolyte substance layers (5) and cathode outlet layers (7) are sequentially formed upon the surfaces of the dielectric layers (3). A sheet (11) is obtained wherein a plurality of solid-state electrolyte capacitor elements (10) are integrally manufactured with the grooves (2) interposed therebetween. The sheet (11) is cut along the grooves (2). Dielectric films are formed on sections which are sited on the peripheries of the cathode layer forming parts of the valve effect metal substrate (1).

Claims:
