Abstract:
The present invention provides an image-plane phase difference pixel capable of coping with light incident at two or more main beam angles. This solid-state image-capture element is provided with a pixel including: a microlens for condensing light from a subject; a photoelectric conversion portion which receives subject light condensed by the microlens and which generates an electric signal corresponding to the amount of light received; and a light shield portion disposed between the photoelectric conversion portion and the microlens, wherein the light shield portion includes an edge portion which passes over a light-receiving surface of the photoelectric conversion portion, the edge portion including a first edge portion and a second edge portion which have different positions in both a first direction corresponding to a top-bottom direction of an output image and a second direction corresponding to a right-left direction of the output image.
