Abstract:
A solid-state image pickup device (100) is provided with: a first pixel array (211A) that generates first pixel data (232A); a second pixel array (211B) that generates second pixel data (232B); a vertical scanning section (212) that independently drives columns of the first pixel array (211A) and columns of the second pixel array (211B); and a signal processing circuit (300) that outputs, as one image datum (334), a plurality of second pixel data (232B) generated by means of the second pixel array (211B) in a first frame, and a plurality of first pixel data (232A) generated by means of the first pixel array (211A) in a second frame directly after the first frame.
