Abstract:
The present art relates to a solid-state image pickup device that makes it possible to achieve low power consumption with a simpler configuration, a method for controlling the solid-state image pickup device, and an electronic apparatus.
This solid-state image pickup device is provided with: a pixel array unit wherein a plurality of pixels are two-dimensionally disposed in matrix; a load transistor constituting a source follower circuit with an amplifying transistor of each of the pixels of the pixel array unit; and a control circuit that controls, corresponding to a light receiving quantity of one or more pixels, a supply voltage of the load transistor or a current flowing in the load transistor. The present art can be applied to, for instance, solid-state image pickup devices.
