Abstract:
A solid-state imaging apparatus (1A) is provided with a light-receiving unit (20), a vertical shift register unit (60A), first row-selection wires (QA1-QAM), and second row-selection wires (QB1-QBM). The vertical shift register unit (60A) provides common row-selection signals (VSAm and VSBm) to the row-selection wires (QAm and QBm) for the mth line. Realized thereby is a solid-state imaging apparatus capable of reading the charge for individual pixels even when a row-selection wire has malfunctioned.
