Abstract:
The present invention provides a solid-state imaging apparatus that is suitable for the acquisition of high resolution images and that simplifies storage and post-storage reexaminations and suppresses deterioration. The solid-state imaging apparatus (100) comprises a transparent substrate (7), a solid-state imaging element (1), an extension portion (3) formed in the periphery of the solid-state imaging element (1), the expansion portion (3) retaining the solid-state imaging element (1) and having a main surface coplanar with an imaging surface of the solid-state imaging element (1), and an imaging object (5) enclosed in an enclosure member (6) between the transparent substrate (7) and the image acquisition surface of the solid-state imaging element (1).
