Abstract:
In a moving image capturing mode, a timing control unit (106) drives a plurality of vertical charge transfer portions and a horizontal charge transfer portion so that at least one video output field period and at least one video inhibition field period are repeated. In the video output field period, the timing control unit (106) supplies a read pulse signal, a vertical transfer pulse signal, and a horizontal transfer pulse signal to the vertical charge transfer portions and the horizontal charge transfer portion. In the video inhibition field period, the timing control unit (106) stops the supply of the horizontal transfer pulse signal and the supply of the read pulse signal.
