Title:
SOLID-STATE IMAGING DEVICE AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/022451
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to a solid-state imaging device and an electronic device which are capable of improving the performance of a solar cell mode logarithmic sensor. After a signal (S) is read out, a p-phase signal (N) is read out in a conductive state in which RST is on, and a p-phase signal (N') is read out in a non-conductive state in which RST is off. Thus, when an incident light illuminance is sufficient (Bright), S-N is selected and outputted which is a difference from the p phase acquired in the conductive state in which RST is on. When capacity charge is insufficient under a low illuminance condition in which incident light is less (Dark), S-N' is selected and outputted which is a difference from the p phase acquired in the conductive state in which RST is off. The present disclosure is applicable to CMOS solid-state imaging devices used as imaging devices such as cameras, for example.
