Abstract:
The present invention improves spectral performance in a wide wavelength range. A solid-state imaging device according to an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a pixel array part (101) in which a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements (PD) are arranged in a two-dimensional lattice form; a plurality of diffraction gratings (12) that are provided, on a one-to-one basis, to light receiving surfaces of the respective photoelectric conversion elements; and pixel circuits (112, 113, 114) that generate pixel signals on the basis of charges stored in the photoelectric conversion elements, wherein the period of a first diffraction grating positioned at a first image height is different from the period of a second diffraction grating positioned at a second image height different from the first image height.
