Abstract:
A solid-state imaging element includes an imaging signal temperature fluctuation suppression unit which changes the voltage value of the drive voltage of the doubling register according to the change of the element temperature of the CCD imaging element, thereby electrically controlling the charge doubling gain of the charge doubling unit and suppressing fluctuation of the signal intensity of the imaging signal caused by the change of the element temperature of the CCD imaging element. As a result, it is possible to control the charge doubling gain of the charge doubling unit by electrical control which can be easily performed with a high accuracy by an imaging signal temperature fluctuation suppression unit according to the change of the element temperature of the CCD imaging element instead of using thermal control which is difficult to be controlled with a high accuracy. Thus, it is possible to easily suppress fluctuation of the signal intensity of the imaging signal caused by the change of the element temperature of the CCD imaging element.
