Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the number of correction pixels required to remove noise. In a solid-sate imaging device, image signal generation pixels for generating an analog image signal corresponding to applied light and correction signal generation pixels for generating an analog correction signal for correcting the image signal are disposed in a matrix in a pixel array unit. A conversion unit performs a first conversion that is a conversion from the analog image signal generated by the image signal generation pixels disposed in a row of the matrix into a digital image signal. Furthermore, the conversion unit performs a second conversion from the analog correction signal generated by the correction signal generation pixels disposed in a plurality of rows of the matrix into a digital correction signal, the second conversion being performed approximately simultaneously with the first conversion. A correction unit corrects the digital image signal using the digital correction signal generated from the plurality of rows.
