Abstract:
This solid-state imaging device (100) has a plurality of pixel regions (1-4) arranged in an array shape on a substrate (7). Each of the plurality of pixel regions (1-4) performs photoelectric conversion on received light. The plurality of pixel regions (1-4) include: a first pixel region (1) that includes a first photoelectric conversion layer (15a) that performs photoelectric conversion on light of a first wavelength region and that multiplies the electric charge by avalanche multiplication; and a second pixel region (2) that includes a second photoelectric conversion layer (15b) that performs photoelectric conversion on light of a second wavelength region different from the first wavelength region and that multiplies the electric charge by avalanche multiplication. The plurality of pixel regions (1-4) are divided by element isolation regions (5).
