Abstract:
The present invention suppresses the fluctuation of power consumption due to a temperature change in a device that captures image data. A solid-state imaging element provided with a pixel array unit, a digital signal generation unit, and a control unit. A plurality of pixels each outputting an analog signal are arrayed in the pixel array unit. The digital signal generation unit generates, for each analog signal, a digital signal from the analog signal and outputs the generated digital signal. The control unit controls the digital signal generation unit, causing a digital signal to be generated with fewer bits for higher temperatures.
