Abstract:
In this solid-state imaging element for converting an analog pixel signal to a digital signal, the number of ADCs is reduced. An effective pixel generates, as an effective pixel signal, an analog signal corresponding to the amount of received light by using power supplied from a power line. A correction signal generating unit generates, as a correction signal, an analog signal containing a noise component produced in the power line. A selection unit sequentially selects and outputs the effective pixel signal and the correction signal. An analog-to-digital converter performs a process of converting the output effective pixel signal into a digital signal and outputting the digital signal as effective pixel data, and a process of converting the output correction signal into a digital signal and outputting the digital signal as correction data. A signal processing unit corrects the effective pixel data on the basis of the correction data.
