Abstract:
The present invention enables imaging of a high-quality image by means of a solid-state imaging element that detects an address event. This solid-state imaging element is provided with a pixel array unit and an analog-digital conversion unit. The pixel array unit in the solid-state imaging element has arrayed therein: normal pixels that generate an analog signal by performing photoelectric conversion on incident light and output the generated signal; and detection pixels that detect an event where the amount of change in incident light has exceeded a threshold value, and then output a detection result. In addition, the analog-digital conversion unit converts an analog signal into a digital signal.
