Abstract:
A solid-state imaging element according to one embodiment as in the present disclosure is provided with: a first photoelectric conversion unit (31) having a light incidence surface on which light is incident; a first gate electrode (36) provided to the first photoelectric conversion unit (31) with an insulating film (35) therebetween; a second photoelectric conversion unit (32) provided to the light incident surface side with respect to the first photoelectric conversion unit (31); and a voltage application unit for applying, to the first gate electrode (36), a voltage corresponding to a number of charges accumulated by the second photoelectric conversion unit (32).
