Abstract:
A solid-state imaging element for amplifying a difference in the signal of each of a pair of pixels, wherein the number of wirings is reduced. The solid-state imaging element is provided with a charge storage unit, a reference reset transistor, and a read reset transistor. The charge storage unit stores electric charges transferred from a photoelectric conversion unit and generates a signal voltage that corresponds to the quantity of the electric charges. When generating a prescribed reference voltage, the reference reset transistor supplies a prescribed reset voltage to the charge storage unit. When reading out a signal voltage, the read reset transistor supplies a voltage different from the reset voltage to the charge storage unit.
