Abstract:
[Problem] To provide, in the present disclosure, a solid state imaging element, an electronic device, and an imaging method with which it is possible to obtain information related to an object regardless of the state of movement of the object. [Solution] According to the present disclosure, a solid state imaging element comprises a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements that carry out photoelectric conversion and generate photoelectric conversion signals, and a generation unit that generates a first signal if a variation quantity of a photoelectric conversion signal output by one of the photoelectric conversion elements among the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements has surpassed a specified value, and generates a second signal if a differential value of photoelectric conversion signals output, respectively, by two photoelectric conversion elements among the plurality of photoelectric conversion elements has surpassed a specified value.
