Abstract:
Provided is a solid-state imaging element, wherein the position of a subject is determined easily at a high speed. The solid-state imaging element is provided with: at least two infrared detecting sections (2A, 2B) formed on a semiconductor substrate (100); electrical wiring lines (2313A, 2312B) which connect at least the two infrared detecting sections in series; and a comparing section (30) which compares the potential at the middle of the electrical wiring line connecting the infrared detecting sections in series with a preset reference potential.
