Abstract:
[Problem] To minimize the difference between the output of a laser beam of a wavelength emitted in an operation mode for emitting a laser beam at one wavelength and the output of a laser beam at another wavelength emitted in an operation mode for emitting a laser beam by switching among laser beams of a plurality of wavelengths in a solid-state laser device and a photoacoustic-measuring device. [Solution] A control circuit (53) switches the operation modes of a solid-state laser device (10) between a single wavelength operation mode for emitting a laser beam of one wavelength and a plurality wavelength operation mode for emitting a laser beam by switching among laser beams of a plurality of wavelengths. The plurality of wavelengths being switched between and emitted in the plurality wavelength operation mode include the wavelength of the laser beam emitted in the single wavelength operation mode. A cooling device (50) controls the temperature of a laser rod (11). The cooling device (50) causes the temperature of an Alexandrite laser rod when the plurality wavelength operation mode is in effect to be higher than the temperature of the Alexandrite laser rod when the single wavelength operation mode is in effect.
