Abstract:
This solid state light source device is provided with a semiconductor light-emitting element and a wavelength-converting element. The semiconductor light-emitting element has a first light-emitting part and a second light-emitting part. The wavelength-converting element has a first wavelength-converting part containing a first phosphor material, and a second wavelength-converting part containing a second phosphor material. The first wavelength-converting part and the second wavelength-converting part are positioned apart from each other. The first light-emitting part emits a first excitation light, and the second light-emitting part emits a second excitation light. The first phosphor material converts the first excitation light to light of a first wavelength, and the second phosphor material converts the second excitation light to light of a second wavelength.
