Abstract:
The present invention provides a solid tire and a method for manufacturing the same, where the solid tire comprises RFID tags for product identification and good response accuracy can be exhibited while ensuring the effect of protecting the RFID tags. A solid tire 10 comprises a tread rubber layer 1 on a tread side and a base rubber layer 2 on a rim side, with a side surface S extending in the radial direction of the tire from the tread rubber layer 1 to the base rubber layer 2, wherein RFID tags 11 are embedded inside the solid tire 10 and the RFID tags 11 are disposed near the side surface S. When forming an unvulcanized tire 10X by winding a rubber sheet 20 into multiple layers, the RFID tags 11 are inserted between layers of the rubber sheet 20 partway through the winding into multiple layers, or the RFID tags 11 and a coating layer 21 are overlaid and attached onto the side surface of the unvulcanized tire 10X, after which the unvulcanized tire 10X comprising the RFID tags 11 is vulcanized in a mold.
