Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a solid writing material which exhibits excellent colour-change properties or erasability, and excellent light-exposure properties, mouldability, and strength. This solid writing material is characterized by being provided with: a writable inner core; and an outer shell which covers an outer peripheral surface of the inner core. The inner core includes: an excipient; and a reversible thermochromatic microcapsule pigment including a temperature-sensitive colour-changeable colour-memorizing composition which comprises at least (a) an electron-donating colour-developing organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and (c) a reaction medium which reversibly induces, in a specific temperature range, an electron exchange reaction using components (a) and (b). The solid writing material is further characterized in that a filler is included in the outer shell.
