Abstract:
Provided are: a solvent composition which is capable of safely and easily removing a polyurethane resin that adheres to the surface of an article; and a method for safely and easily removing a polyurethane resin that adheres to the surface of an article with use of this solvent composition. A solvent composition which is used for the purpose of removing a polyurethane resin that adheres to the surface of an article, and which is characterized in that trans-1, 2-dichloroethylene is contained at a proportion of 50-100% by mass relative to the total amount of the solvent composition.
