Abstract:
A solvent consumption management system (2) is connected via a network to liquid chromatography analysis systems (10-1 to 10-n) in which a sample is introduced into an analysis flow channel in which a mobile phase is flowing, and the sample is separated into components in a separation column provided on the analysis flow channel and is analyzed by chromatography. The solvent consumption management system (2) manages the amount of solvent consumed by the liquid chromatography analysis systems (10-1 to 10-n). The liquid chromatography analysis systems (10-1 to 10-n) are provided with residual amount meters (12) for detecting the residual amount in containers (18) containing the solution. The solvent consumption management system (2) is provided with a solvent consumption calculation unit (4) configured to acquire composition information relating to the composition of a solution used as the mobile phase from management devices (16, 16') for managing the liquid chromatography analysis systems (10-1 to 10-n), and individually calculate the amounts of consumed solvents including at least an organic solvent among solvents constituting the solution using the composition information and the amounts of residual solution detected by the residual amount meters (12).
