Abstract:
A solvent-free flexible packaging binder for easy construction in different temperature environments. The flexible packaging binder comprises a hydroxyl component and an isocyanate component; the hydroxyl component consists of the following components in weight fractions: 40-70% of castor oil, 5-40% of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, 5-15% of ethylene glycol, 0-1% of a coupling agent, 10-40% of polypropylene oxide, and 0-0.5% of a catalyst; the isocyanate component consists of the following components in weight fractions: 30-70% of polyester polyol, 10-40% of hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, 20-30% of isocyanate, 0-0.1% of benzoyl chloride. A hydroxyl value component of the binder is prepared by mixing hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene with polyether, castor oil, etc, and as the amount of hydroxyl groups increases by introduction of the hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene, the flow characteristics of fluid change, and the fluid changes gradually to a non-Newtonian fluid, the change in viscosity of the system becomes smaller with the change in temperature.
