Abstract:
The invention relates to a sonotrode made of a material capable of transmitting vibrations and comprising at least a first, longitudinal portion (Pl) having a central axis (C), characterized in that it further includes an intermediate portion (Pi) and a portion constituting a base (Pb) having dimensions at least greater than about 1 inch, the intermediate portion comprising at least a first gradient (G1) having lateral dimensions perpendicular to the central axis at least increasing towards the base and allowing the vibrations generated at the base to be propagated with a uniform amplitude at any point on the base, and the longitudinal portion having at its upper end a conical or concave or convex surface allowing maximum vibration transmission.
