Abstract:
Provided are a sorting device for insulation and a sorting method for insulation that sort insulation, which has been made into small pieces, according to the material.
Needles 3a provided on a rotating body 3 are pushed into and stick into insulation (urethane foam material 8 and glass wool 9) that has been made into small pieces and conveyed by a conveyor 2, and the insulation is sorted according to the ease of pulling these off of the needles 3a.
First, a force that will remove the glass wool 9, which is easily pulled off of the needles 3a, but will not remove the urethane foam 8, which is difficult to pull off, is applied to the insulation stuck on the needles 3a. The insulation removed from the needles 3a is recovered as glass wool 9, and next, the insulation that remains not pulled off of the needles 3a is pulled off of the needles 3a and recovered as urethane foam material 8.
