Abstract:

[Problem] To efficiently sort magnetized objects and non-magnetized objects from items to be sorted with high precision. [Solution] A sorting device (10) is characterized by having: a high-gradient magnetic separator (50) configured of an electromagnet (50a), a magnetic filter (50b), and a magnetic separation channel (50c); a sorted fluid introduction passage (1b) connected via an opening/closing valve (1a) and able to introduce a fluid to be sorted into the magnetic separation channel (50c); a first carrying fluid introduction channel (2b) connected via a second opening/closing valve (2a) and able to introduce a first carrying fluid into the magnetic separation channel (50c); a non-magnetized object discharge channel (3b) connected via a third opening/closing valve (3a) and able to discharge the fluid to be sorted from the magnetic separation channel (50c); a carrying fluid introduction channel (4b) connected via a fourth opening/closing valve (4a) and able to introduce a second carrying fluid into the magnetic separation channel (50c); and a magnetized object discharge channel (5b) connected via a fifth opening/closing valve (5a) and able to discharge the second carrying fluid carrying magnetized objects from the magnetic separation channel (50c).
