Title:
SOUND-ABSORBING LINER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/037456
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A through hole 31 in a sound-absorbing liner 100 is inclined toward the upstream side from the front surface to the back surface of a porous plate 33. Thus, the direction of vibration VL of a hole fluid is inclined in accordance with the through hole 31 (inclined by 135° herein). At this time, the magnitude of the particle velocity along the through hole 31 is V. On the other hand, among the velocity components of the hole fluid, the magnitude of the velocity component in the plate thickness direction (i.e., the momentum) which affects a main flow boundary layer is expressed as V/√2. This value is smaller than V which is the velocity component in the plate thickness direction according to a comparative example. Thus, the influence that the vibration of the hole fluid in the through hole 31 has on disturbance in the main flow is suppressed compared to the comparative example.
