Abstract:
Provided are a sound-absorbing material with improved tensile strength while maintaining sound-absorbing properties, and a wiring harness with sound-absorbing material, obtained by integrating said sound-absorbing material with a wiring harness. This problem is solved by: a sound-absorbing material comprising two sheets of a first nonwoven cloth overlaid upon one another in the thickness direction, and a second nonwoven cloth positioned between the two sheets of first nonwoven cloth, and characterized by the second nonwoven cloth having, on one end in the thickness direction, a fused section obtained by joining fibers to one another by means of an adhesive or a fusing means; and a wiring harness with sound-absorbing material, characterized by integrating the sound-absorbing material and the wiring harness by covering at least part of the wiring harness in the axial direction with the sound-absorbing material.
