Abstract:
This sound absorbing member is provided with non-through holes having a Helmholtz resonant structure and comprising introduction passages opened in a surface and hollow parts connected to the outside via the introduction passages, wherein the sound absorbing member is characterized by being provided with the non-through holes arranged at equal intervals and having the same resonance frequency, and being furthermore provided with a plurality of non-through holes having a different shape and resonance frequency than the aforementioned non-through holes, the difference in resonance frequency between the non-through holes arranged at equal intervals and having the same resonance frequency and the plurality of non-through holes having a different shape and resonance frequency being at least 1/3 octave.
