Provided by the present invention is a sound generating device, which comprises a basket, a vibration system accommodated in the basket, a magnetic circuit system fixed on the basket and having a magnetic gap, and a front cover. The vibration system comprises a diaphragm and a voice coil inserted into the magnetic gap so as to drive the diaphragm to vibrate and generate sound. The diaphragm is fixed on the front cover. The basket comprises a receiving part connected to the front cover and a peripheral part for fixing the magnetic circuit system extending from the receiving part. Along the vibration direction of the diaphragm, the orthographic projection of the diaphragm on the front cover does not overlap with the orthographic projection of the receiving part on the front cover, wherein the basket and the front cover are both made of metal materials, the front cover has a welding part, and the welding part and the receiving part are fixed by means of laser spot welding. The front cover of the sound generating device provided by the present invention does not easily fall off.
