Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a sound generation device capable of positioning a magnetic field generation unit and an armature and also capable of assembly without adjustment; and a production method therefor. [Solution] A magnetic field generation unit 20 is attached to a frame 5. The magnetic field generation unit 20 comprises an upper yoke 21, a lower yoke 22, and side yokes 23, 23. An upper magnet 24 is fixed to the upper yoke 21 and a lower magnet 25 is fixed to the lower yoke 22. The magnetic field generation unit 20 abuts a drive-side attachment surface 5a of the frame 5 and is fixed thereto. An armature 32 has a folded back section 32b and a base end section 32e. The base end section 32e is fixed to the drive-side attachment surface 5a. By assembling each member on the frame 5, the positional relationship between each can be determined with high precision.
