Abstract:
[Problem] To provide: a sound generation device whereby the relative positions of a magnet and an armature can be set with high precision and do not require adjustment; and a production method therefor. [Solution] A sound generation device having a drive-side frame 5 and a vibration-side frame 6 that overlap and join and having the drive-side frame 5 being formed using a magnetic material. A magnet support section 5e is provided in the drive-side frame 5 and a first magnet 24 is directly fixed to the lower surface of the magnet support section 5e. A lower yoke 22, side yokes 23, 23, and a second magnet 25 are arranged in the magnet support section 5e and coils 27 are fixed to the yokes. The vibration section 32 of the armature 32 is inserted in a gap δ between the coils 27 and the magnets 24, 25.
