Abstract:
The present invention addresses the issue of obtaining excellent frequency characteristics of sound pressure. In order to solve the issue, a sound generator (1) according to the embodiment of the present invention is provided with a piezoelectric element (exciter) (5), a flat diaphragm (3), and a frame body (2). The piezoelectric element (5) oscillates when electric signals are inputted. The diaphragm (3) has the piezoelectric element (5) attached thereto, and oscillates with the piezoelectric element (5) due to the oscillation of the piezoelectric element (5). The frame body (2) is provided on an outer circumferential portion of the diaphragm (3). Furthermore, corner portions of the inner circumferential surface of the frame body (2) include at least curved surfaces, respectively, and at least one of the corner portions has a shape different from the shapes of other corner portions.
