Abstract:
Control can be performed so as to be able to provide a sound output device for an electric vehicle, said sound output device being provided with a sound production means (11) for producing sound, an information acquisition means (12) for acquiring state information or peripheral information relating to the vehicle, and a control means (13) for controlling the volume or output direction of the sound produced by the sound production means (11) on the basis of the state information or peripheral information relating to the vehicle acquired by the information acquisition means (12) and outputting the sound to the outside of the vehicle, and consequently the sound becomes easier to hear by pedestrians and occupants of light vehicles and motorbikes, and an undesirable situation for neighborhood residents is eliminated.
