Abstract:

Provided is a sound pickup device which is used by being inserted into the ear of a user. The sound pickup device is provided with: a sound pickup part; and a holding part which is provided with a sound transmission part, and which holds the sound pickup part inside the external auditory canal of the user. The holding part comprises: a ring body provided with an opening which serves as the sound transmission part; and at least one arm of which one end is connected to the ring body, and which supports the sound pickup part at another end. The ring body is inserted into the cavity of the concha of the user, and is secured in the vicinity of the intertragic notch. Furthermore, the holding part holds the sound pickup part such that a microphone hole is oriented towards the outside of the external auditory canal, and the microphone hole is disposed further towards the back side than the entrance of the external auditory canal.
