Abstract:
This sound processing device is provided with: a low-frequency reduction unit which transitions between a first state for outputting a signal in which components in an acoustic signal that fall below a first frequency are reduced and a second state for outputting a signal in which components in the acoustic signal that fall below a second frequency, higher than the first frequency, are reduced; a class D amplifier which amplifies the signal after output from the low-frequency reduction unit; a state determination unit which determines whether or not the strength of a low-frequency component in the acoustic signal exceeds a threshold value; and an operation control unit which controls the low-frequency reduction unit to assume the first state if the determination result from the state determination unit is negative, and controls the low-frequency reduction unit to assume the second state if the determination result is positive.
