Abstract:
Provided is a compact and high-power sound producing component.
A sound producing component (1) is provided with a vibration element (10), a support member (14), and a connection (13). The vibration element comprises a polygonal vibration plate (11) and an electromechanical conversion element (12) mounted to the vibration plate (11). The connection (13) connects the vibration plate (11) to the support member (14) over the entire perimeter of the vibration plate (11). At least part of the connection (13) has a curved shape. The length of a portion, which connects the corner of the vibration plate (11) and the support member (14), of the connection (13) is shorter than the length of a portion, which connects the center of the end side of the vibration plate (11) and the support member (14), of the connection (13).
