Abstract:
The present invention provides a sound-producing device following a basketball player's successful shot. The device includes an elastic loop string (2) located in the lower portion of the basket net (1), a trigger (3), conducting wires (4), a power switch (5) and a sound generator (6). The trigger (3) includes a hollow insulating tube (7), a metal spring (8) and metal boards (9) connected to the two ends of the spring (8). The spring (8) and the board (9) are positioned within the tube (7). The two ends of the elastic loop string (2) go through the ends of the tube (7) and connect with the metal boards (9). The first terminals of the wires (4) are secured within the tube (7) and near the end portion of the tube (7), the second terminals of the wires (4) are connected with the power switch (5) and the sound generator (6). When the basketball passes through the basket, the spring (8) is pulled out which enables the metal boards (9) contact the first terminals of the wires (4) to trigger the electric current connection.
