Abstract:
A sound reproduction device for reproducing, in an audibly natural state, sound information that is lower than the lowest resonance frequency of a speaker. The sound reproduction device is provided with: a filter unit (110) for extracting a low-pass signal (S2) of a frequency (f2) lower than the lowest resonance frequency of the speaker from an input signal (S1) supplied from a signal source; a first multiplying unit (130) for acquiring a converted signal (S4) of a frequency (f3±f2), from the sine signal (S3) of a frequency (f3) and the low-pass signal (S2); a second multiplying unit (140) for acquiring a converted signal (S5) including a frequency (f3) component and a frequency (f3±2f2) component from the low-pass signal (S2) and the converted signal (S4); and an adding unit (160) for adding the converted signal (S4) and converted signal (S5) to acquire a pseudo low-pass signal-containing signal (S8) which includes the frequency (f3) component, frequency (f3±f2) component, and frequency (f3±2f2) component.
