Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible to perform, with high accuracy, sound source direction estimations for a plurality of sound sources when using two microphones. To do so, the inter-channel phase difference in each frequency band of a microphone pair consisting of two microphones separated and set at a prescribed distance from each other is calculated. For each frequency band of the microphone pair, a single sound source mask, which indicates whether or not a component in said frequency band is from a single sound source, is also calculated. In addition, the calculated inter-channel phase difference and the single sound source mask are input as feature amounts into a multi-label classifier, and a direction label associated with a sound source direction is output for said feature amounts.
